Great staff, great breakfast, great location
The staff were incredibly helpful and took the time to make suggestions with where to visit. We used their map the entire time! Room was comfortable, clean and had two sheets so we could remove the duvet in the heat. Breakfast was great. Set us up for a long day of walking. Staff organised a really lovely heart display in the room for our honeymoon and a small bottle of Prosecco. Really kind!!
Breakfast was 3mins walk in another hotel. If we’d known at booking, we wouldn’t have booked as it’s not convenient. The staff aren’t very attentive at breakfast as they’re also busy looking after customers upstairs. You might have to wait for utensils, plates or food top up - this is any time. Air con wasn’t too strong so the night was either too hot or too cold. I personally loved it because it was quiet but my husband didn’t sleep well. Hotel is tricky to find. You’re asked to text 20mins in advance so someone can come and meet you. Would recommend showing photos on the site or texting them to speed things up. Someone did very quickly but it’s not the best experience. We walked right past the entrance as it’s part of a building with residents and there’s no sign. Once in, you get the entrance code and it’s all fine after that. Location is perfect.
